Personality

Since she is a "newborn", Spessart doesn't have a full personality developed yet, so everything is new to her. She gets easily impressed about simple stuff, like lights, or even scared about certain noises or areas, but she seems to be learning at a slow pace.

Backstory

There is not much to know about Spessartine. She and another Gem, called Siderite, both emerged from the Prime Kindergarten at the same time, due to the stir caused by a mysterious Gem who stole a few gemstones. They escaped from Kindergarten together, ending up walking around Earth without knowing anything, except for their names.

After Coral's death, Spessartine became a nomad, leaving her old house behind and starting to wander around the state.

Abilities

(Type: Fire Manipulator/Fighter)

Spessartine possesses the standard abilities a Gem would normally have, such as, but not limited to, the ability to invoke a weapon, shapeshift, and take refuge into her gem after being wounded to heal. She can move quickly and easily and think and understand quickly.

Unique Abilities

  • Pyrokinesis: Spessart can create, shape and manipulate fire, the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products, flame being the visible portion of the fire.

Weapons

  • Scimitar: Her weapon is a short sword with a curved blade that broadens toward the point.

Relationships

Coral

She liked to spend time with Coral, even if she was pretty quiet. She developed a crush on Coral without knowing it, but at the end they ended up in a romantic relationship, but after 9 months, Coral died, due to her gem being shattered by a monster who attacked her in front of their house.

Gemology

Gemstone Information

  • Known as the Garnet of the Sun, Spessartine is one of the lesser-known and rarer varieties of Garnet. Its energizing warmth radiates in shades of dark gold, orange, scarlet and deep red. Crystals can be pale yellow if nearly pure, but are almost always mixed with Almandine Garnet.
  • Spessartine Garnet, which includes Spessartite and Imperial Garnet, takes its name from the Spessart district of Bavaria, and is a magnesium aluminum silicate.
  • The energies of Spessartine vibrate at a high rate, imparting a willingness to help others and strengthening the heart. It enhances analytical processes and the rational mind. Yet Spessartine also stimulates aspects of creative abilities and energies, encouraging one to take action toward one's dreams, visions and goals. It is a good stone for artists, writers, dancers, actors and others who express through creative energy.
