Personality

Blue Quartz appears to be a cold and lonely gem, but only the latter is true, when no one is watching, (or at least when no one really pays too much attention) they tends to be quite clumsy, either way, their smile can generate disquiet around their comrades.

History

Blue Quartz was made in planet designate as Alpha-Z789, a cold planet with an strange amount of a blue-ish crystal mineral, a pretty scenery for the eye of the foreigner, but still disturbing for those who can't see the difference between the crystal that comes out of the ground and the life forms, since the life that surrounds the planets seems to be made of the same material.

After being recruited, Blue Quartz was moved to several colonies, but they only stayed for a short period of time, eventually, for unknown reasons, they returned to their original place of birth. The Officers didn't know what to do with them, because even if Blue Quartz was a little problematic, they had a lot of potential, so after years of training and some discipline, the officers succeeded in "taming" this gem, or at least making them more stable.

They fought in the war for Earth, mindlessly poofing gems with their bare hands, even if they had a weapon, however, when Homeworld decided to retreat, they tried to stop one of the groups of gems, but after realizing the uncontable gems crushed, a hole in their chest was opened, and then, Blue Quartz escaped with the others, trying to put them safe.

Thousands of years after that, they changed completely, still looking big and a little intimidating, but in terms of personality, they are more open and less "savage".

Appearance

Blue Quartz has some particular features, the lack of a nose it's a determined fact in the shape of their face, making them look less "humanoid".

They have navy blue dreadlocks, these are tied up, giving them a more "decent" look, wearing a common Homeworld spandex outfit.

Abilities

Like most Gems, Blue Quartz can shape-shift, summon a weapon, fuse, and retreat to their gemstone to regenerate.

Unique Abilities:

  • Crystallized: Blue Quartz can crystallize their body, using this thin layer of crystal to protect themselves, or execute a very dangerous Spin-Dash.
